Welcome! I am an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science & Geography and the Graduate Program in International Studies at Old Dominion University.
I study international conflict, foreign policy, and East Asian foreign relations, focusing on the roles of leadership and domestic politics in international relations. My works appear in Journal of Conflict Resolution and International Studies Quarterly, as well as Washington Post. I received my Ph.D. in the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin, my M.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2012), and my B.A. in International Politics from Peking University (2008). |
